  • Location: 10 A perfect location, near to Alhambra, historic quarter, Albaicin, shops, bars and restaurants.
  • Common facilities and services: 10 Free wi-fi Internet in rooms worked perfectly. Please note I never tried their breakfasts or meals, as I usually prefer to eat outside the hotel.
  • Staff: 10 Very helpful. Went out of their way to explain and assist with queries.
  • Quietness: 7.5 Very little noise.
  • Room: 7.5 Room size was acceptable. Bathroom was nice, though could have done with a bit of replenishment of soaps etc., and a solid shower screen instead of curtain. But these are minor things.
  • Value for money: 10 On a 5 week holiday in Europe, this was the best value for money of all hotels.

June/2009 Someone from Canada thinks:

  • Overall rating: 4.2
  • Would you recommend it? No
  • Positive: The proximity to the center and the Alhambra
  • Negative: There was no investment in giving the room a warm feeling
  • I RECOMMEND it for... Young travelers, Budget travelers
  • I recommend it especially AGAINST... Luxury, Peace seekers, Classic style lovers, Modern style lovers, Healthy lifestyle
  • Cleanliness: 7.5 The room was kept very clean, however, there was a little smell in the bathroom.
  • Location: 10 In the middle of everything - the center of Granada, the Alhambra, restaurants, bars, everything in walking distance. But still the hotel is not on a very busy street. But as our room faced the street we had to live with a noisy bar on the other side which closes at 3 a.m.
  • Common facilities and services: Not rated
  • Staff: 7.5 The staff was very friendly and helpful.
  • Quietness: 2.5 The inside of the hotel was pretty quiet, but the outside noise was heavy due to the bar on the other side of the street and people walking by.
  • Room: 2.5 The size of the room was okay by Spanish standards, however, it was very basically equipped (e.g. did not even have a closet or a proper chair although there was room). The bathroom was tiny.
  • Value for money: 2.5 We had booked a room in the middle category but it did not seem like it.
