• Location: 7.5 I don't know the area well since I am from the US, but I needed to be closer to Vall d'Hebron hospital and no hotels had rooms available. It was nice that this hotel was close to the metro train.

• Negative: Bad customer service. I had booked my stay well in advance. It seemed that there was a mistake in the booking. The room was booked from Sunday till Saturday, while I had to fly back on Friday. I pointed this out on arrival on Sunday, but the frontdesk refused to change my booking and charged me for the extra day. I hope that the extra day will be refunded. I consider these kind of practices as very bad service and for me it is a good reason to put the hotel on my black list.

• Negative: Reception! Always queued, following a leak in the bathroom when we arrived we had to repack at midnight with a six year old and move up four floors. Hotel wouldn't give us full late check out to compensate, only gave us to 3pm and when we arrived at 2pm at room key card had been cancelled. Took fifteen minutes to gain access. Reception service was disappointing but maid service and dining staff very good. Glass lift contaatly smelt of dampness.
