Nuevo Colón is a hostel which was refurbished in 2007 in the historical quarter of Barcelona. Very close to the beach, the Picasso Museum, the Ramblas, the Gothic quarter, next to the Ciudadela Park in the heart of the famous district of Born in Barcelona. It is excellently-communicated with the airport as the Estación de França train station is opposite the hostel from where there is a direct train to the Airport of Barcelona every 20 minutes. In a friendly environment there are rooms and apartments which are refurbished every 2 years. The location in Barcelona, the cleanliness, the good personal service and the variety of our rooms constitute our main advantages. Our quality-price ratio is unbeatable in Barcelona.

  • Negative: The wrong information on the hotel website! It says to take the airport train till the last stop (Estacio Terme de Franca). It doesn't mention that you have to change to another train. We ended up in a village outside of Barcelona and had to take a bus and taxi to the hotel. We arrived at the hotel at 01:30 a.m.. The man at the reception wasn't interested. Also, we had to pay for the 4 nights immediately upon arrival! Moreover, the room was extremely small.
