The Hostel Los Girasoles has an excellent location in a quiet street at the historical center of the monumental city of Granada, next to the historic church of San Juan de Dios, 500 m from the Cathedral and 2 km from the magnificent Alhambra. In July 2009, the hostel won the Santa Marta 2009 award from the Business Association of Tourist Accommodations in Granada, and became the best establishment in the city in its category. The hotel has been completely renovated, modern rooms with parquet, air conditioning, heating, satellite TV and fully equipped bathrooms, plus free Wi-Fi, in all rooms and public areas of the hotel. It offers a warm and modern decor and convenience features such as, TV and reading room, safe in reception, free vending machine (coffee, tea and chocolate), a parking two minutes walk from the hotel and tourist visits scheduled from the reception of the hotel.   • Negative: Olor terrible a alcantarilla (de verdad, no se podía entrar al cuarto de baño sin que te diesen arcadas), cuarto sucio (por ejemplo pelos y manchas en la almohada) y diminuto. Hacía frío y no había mantas. Teníamos reserva para dos noches y para la segunda noche buscamos otro hotel. Para lo que costaba la noche no me esperaba en absoluto lo que me encontré. Para un estudiante que busque un albergue por 15-20€ sí me parecería que sería justa la calidad-precio, pero 40€ la noche me parece excesivo.

  • Negative: La gestión del hotel.Llegamos nos dieron una habitacion individual, cuando la reserva era una habitación doble y encima dicen que todas las habitaciones son iguales,les comento que el documento que hay en la habitación pone capacidad una persona, y se sorprenden y dicen que lo desconocian. Nos cambian de habitación, que para poner la calefacción tengo que salir al pasillo, y me dicen que es asi, tercermundista. El segundo dia no hacen la habitación, se lo comunico y me dicen que ya hasta el día siguiente no se puede hacer, la tubimos que hacer mi esposa y yo. El tercer día hicierón la habitación a las 14:00 cuando volvimos para ducharnos e ir a comer tuvimos que esperar 20 minutos. El escandalo en el desayuno increible, no se dan cuenta que hay habitaciones, cierren la puerta de cristal que tienen, que para eso esta. Vamos un desastre.

  • Room: Not rated Oscura, la iluminación parecia la de un candil, la calefacción se regula en el pasillo, cama regular. Muy básica.
  • Value for money: Not rated Hay pensiones en Granada, bastante mejores, no se merece el nombre de hotel y las estrellas que tiene.Tienen clientes por la ubicación que tiene el hotel,si no estarian sin clientes.Hable con otros clientes y no estaban para nada contentos co el hotel.
