• Négatif: The hotel was extremely noisy during the night. All people who were using the staircases were talking so loudly that it was not possible to sleep well.The doors at every room are with bad mechanism and one you close it it make an incredible noise and once it is during the night is not good experience.The Reception is on the next street and is very confusing with no reception at this hotel. the door to the bathroom was with a problem of the outer part of the door-handie. very strange way of the elevator buttons.No explanation nearby the elevators.

• Propreté: 10 Only stayed a couple of nights and the room was tidied and clean whilst I stayed there which was great.
• Situation: 10 Really close to the Gran Via, I walked everywhere and the staff helped me to find a bicycle hire near by so I could cycle around the Casa de Campo.
• Installations et services: 5 It was a room only, so there was no reception at the site. The main hotel was just around the corner and you could get help there so was no problem at all it was just basic.
• Personnel: 10 Lovely staff who spoke excellent English and were really helpful. Helped me to find bike hire and also looked after my luggage on the last day. Although there was no reception where I was staying, I was not worried by this.
• Tranquillité: 7,5 It was quite a noisy area, but the room had aircon so no need to keep the window open at night and the shutters kept most of the noise out. I took earplugs but didn't need to use them.
• Chambre: 7,5 It was a simple room, but had what I needed. Although no tea making facilities...which a lot of English people like, it was really close to cafe's, etc so was not an issue. Very clean. Not much of a view, but it is an inner city hotel so I wasn't expecting one!
• Relation qualité-prix: 7,5 Thought it was great and would stay there again if back in Madrid.

• Positif: The central location. The room was practical.It had everything we needed.
• Négatif: The noise outside at night.Arriving hit and sweaty and having to drag our luggage further on to get checked in.Directions on the door were vague...was calle del pez to the left or right? It was impossible to shower without wetting the floor.

• Personnel: 10 Only saw staff in Abalu on arrival and departure but they were very friendly and helpful
