Badia di Pomaio is a restored ancient monastery of the 17th century. Located on top of a panoramic hill, it is 5 km far from the historic centre of Arezzo. The 17 rooms, comfortable and quiet, are different one from each other and keep the ancient atmosphere boasting wood beams, ancient furniture and stone walls. Nonetheless, they are all fitted with modern facilities and equipment. The hotel is the ideal location for a relaxing and quiet stay. In the summertime, the tiny internal square and its ancient loggia become an outdoors restaurant, providing an amazing view on the surrounding valley. In winter the atmosphere gets even cosier, with the warm fire-place in the dining room and the peculiar cellar arranged in an ancient cave. The hotel also features a splendid swimming pool, located on a natural terrace with open view on the town. A spot where you can relax, have a drink or read a book in a peaceful surrounding.
